The
municipality
of
Kousba
is pleased to inform you about its latest achievement
that crowned its previous achievements.
It is the first humanitarian performance in the
region of El-Koura:
The
Medical
Center
of Kousba
The center is
established based on an official contract signed between
the ministry of public health and the municipality, in
which the latter assumes making the center works and
undertakes all the administrative, financial and
logistic responsibilities.
The center is
composed of a different number of medical clinics
(polyclinic) for general and internal medicine,
pediatrics, gynecology, first aid, dentistry,
laboratory, radiography and a pharmacy, as it is shown
in the enclosed booklet.
The
municipality declared the opening of the center on
April 07, 2008
, and that after accomplishing the maintenance of the
equipments and after providing the center by
electricity, telephone, medical instruments, vaccines,
medicines, etc… on its own charge.
The
Medical Center of Kousba is a non profit
humanitarian institution run by a committee formed from
a:
President:
Mr. Elias Fadel, the vice president of the municipality.
Medical
coordinator: Dr. Elie Abdallah Habib.
Accountant:
Mr. Elie Hanna Nassar, member of the municipality board.
The staffs of
the
Medical
Center
consist of an internal medicine doctor, two laboratory
technicians, one radiotherapy technician and a
secretary. In
addition to different specialized doctors, from Kousba
or from outside the village, who work in this center in
scheduled hours, while other doctors support the center
from their private clinics.
The Center
gets a symbolic fee on the medical examination, while
offers medicine and vaccines for free and makes blood
examination, radiology and echography for lower prices.
Different
agreements have been achieved with hospitals,
radiography centers and laboratories to execute
radiograph, sophisticated examinations and general
surgery operations for reduced prices.
The Center
receives patients from Kousba, neighborhood and other
regions during all the working days of the week by
appointments. A big number of patients have already
profited from its service.
People trust it because of the competence of its
doctors and the perseverance of its administration.
Thanks God for all of that.
The
administration of the Center seeks to develop its
performance. For
this, administrators send a number of letters and files
to the humanitarian, medical and social institutions for
support. (A
list of needs is written in one of the pages of the
enclosed booklet). Accordingly,
the Center has received support from:
The
Ministry of Public Health: (Contract, Medical and
Laboratory Equipments, Medicine, Vaccines, Rent,
Electricity, ect…)
The
Municipality of Kousba that take care of the
maintenance of Equipments, telephone and electricity
bills, Medicine, Necessities, Stationary, Clinic
conditioning and what is necessary for the Center
development.
The
Union
of the Municipalities of El-Koura: Financial
support.
Human and
Medical Institutions: Essential and long term
disease medicines, in addition to financial support.
The Center is
waiting the support of all who care those of good hands
and noble aims to support it by providing medicines,
medical equipments, necessities and financial support in
order to pursue its job and execute the humanitarian
aims, reason of its being.
The
municipality
of
Kousba
and the administration of the Center thank the
cooperating doctors and supporting institutions and hope
to spread this notice and booklet to all human
institutions and charitable organizations in
Lebanon
and all over the world.
