school for girls - complementary stage
The number of the school's students
ranges between 150 and 200.
A Russian mission established it in 1890.
Many generations have studied in this school, which
was exclusive for males until the year 1942
when it was transformed into a school for females. Its
first director was Mr Khalil Ibrahim Sassin from the
village of "Cheikh Taba" in "Akkar",
and its current director is miss Malake Jirji Hakim.
The school contains a library, a laboratory,
an information hall and a technology laboratory.
The school was awarded many certificates of attestation
(official exams, administration, environment, sports,
arts…).
Its activities are diversified, covering
different fields such as the twinning with the school
of Jean Rostaud in france
