Kousba Governmental School for Boys was opened in 1935, and transformed into a governmental school in 1945 under the administration of the Instructor Chatil Younisi.
The current director is Mr. Nicolas Rihana. It teaches around 150 to 200 students. Lately a floor was added which included a Laboratory and a computer Lab.
English language was introduced in parallel with Arabic and French. It houses many activities, and lately it was twinned with Jean Rostaud school in France.
