Established in 1967, Al-Afrah club is a sports-cultural club. Its founders are:

- Mr. Moawad
- Mr. Shahid Nehme
- Mrs Nawal Saba
- Mr. Joseph Awad

The club has organized a lot of festivals. In 1973, Al-Afrah club won the youth championship of volleyball in the north, and in the year 2000 it ranked third in the basketball championship.
